OK, so we took the boys to a water park for Ethan's birthday, and I'm getting tired climbing essentially four flights of stairs repeatedly to go down the water slides. Then when I'm up there with Brooke and the boys, I'm paranoid about the kids looking over the sides because I don't like looking over the sides ALL THE WAY DOWN. Then I take the body slides, and I'm noticing I'm getting claustrophobic going down the slides because they're really narrow. And they're dark. Then I take Ethan down the Vortex (which is like a huge toilet bowl, which makes us...well you know) and I'm loving it, except for the part where we go down the final tube backwards.
I'm old and afraid. When did this happen?
I felt slightly better that there was this youngish Indian woman in a bikini who was trying to look cool in the lazy river, and then she flipped over. I was laughing my behind off when she popped out of the water. It was priceless.
